It’s time for each of us to be curious.
Day #8 of Sanity
I am a big believer that cookie cutters only work when you are baking. We seem to constantly be searching for someone else’s best practices when our greatest opportunity is to learn what works for us and what doesn’t. And it takes courage to find your own path and imagine what is possible. But there are no shortcuts. There really is no free lunch.
This is what allows us to find our own way: our curiosity about how things can be different, coupled with our boundless imagination. The best ideas come from us when we can imagine a new product or service, for example, that we would want to experience ourselves. Too often, the answers we are seeking are right in front of us. The question is are we curious enough to find them and then go create something meaningful in the world?
- What sparks my curiosity?
- When the best practices don’t work for me, how can I create a customized practice?
- How can I tap into my curiosity more to create meaningful experiences?
