It’s time for each of us to focus on impact versus activity.
Day #23 of Sanity
I hear from so many people who feel they don’t have time to think any more since they are rushing from activity to activity. So many blame technology for the poor choices we make and our increasing stress. And yet, technology offers us tools and we decide how to use it.
When I was a kid, my parents instilled a love of of reading in me. I would spend hours devouring books that took me to amazing adventures. But I was never allowed to bring a book to the dining room table. Meal time was dedicated to appreciating the food we had and an opportunity to engage in conversation.“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition“. Steve Jobs
